山田村位于罗定市罗平镇。清朝设山田村，隶属罗定州四都建水乡。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明朝隶属泷水县四都。清代设山田村，隶属罗定州四都建水乡。清末至民国，村地先后归罗定县第五区罗平团中北堡、第四区管辖，1942年起归第二区罗平乡。[2]

1950年5月起归第四区西北乡，1958年先并入罗平合作社，同年9月设山田营，后改生产大队，归东风公社。1961年6月重新组建山田大队，归罗平公社。[2]

1983年改设乡，1986年复为村民委员会，1989年改为管理区，1993年获评革命老区，1998年又恢复为村民委员会。[2]
