平垌村位于罗定市罗平镇。明朝此地属泷水县四都，清代设平垌村，隶属罗定州四都建水乡。村内有清代的锦堂陈公祠、莼圃陈公祠等祠堂建筑。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

明朝属泷水县四都。清代设平垌村，隶属罗定州四都建水乡。[2]

清末至民国，村地归罗定县第五区罗平团南堡、第四区，1942年起归第二区罗平乡。1950年起改隶第四区西南乡，1958年先并入罗平合作社。同年9月设平垌营，后改为生产大队，归东风公社。1961年6月，原大队分出若干大队。[2]

1983年并入平垌乡，1986年复为村民委员会，1989年改为管理区，1998年又恢复为村民委员会，至今未变。[2]

祠堂与古迹[edit]

锦堂陈公祠位于大屋垌村，清光绪三十一年乙巳（1905年）建，坐东南向西北，纵二进，墙面设有多个镬耳山墙。[3]

莼圃陈公祠亦在大屋垌村，清光绪九年癸未（1883年）建，坐西南向东北，一路二进。[3]

化堂梁公祠位于茶岗村，为清代建筑，属罗定市（县）级文物保护单位。[3]

迳口樵歌位于大屋垌金山迳，是罗定的「老八景」之一。[4]
