金田村位于分界镇境内，是一个村庄。村名始于1961年：当时从甘河大队分出的甘田村，因方言中「甘」「金」音近，改以「金」字冠名为金田[1]。村委会设在金田村，故名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地隶属罗定州二都顺仁乡。1910年至1931年，属罗定县第三区分界团的朗心堡；1931年至1950年，属第三区分界乡[2]。

解放初，1950年5月起改属罗定县第一区分界乡。1953年曾设一个乡隶属第一区，1956年该乡并入分界乡。1958年2至8月属分界乡的分界合作社，同年9月划入罗镜公社分界片的一个生产大队[2]。

1961年6月从原大队分出，设金田生产大队，归分界公社管辖。1983年8月大队改为金田乡，归分界区；1986年11月乡制取消，改设金田村民委员会。1989年5月改为金田管理区，隶罗定县（市）分界镇；1998年9月管理区撤销，设立金田村民委员会，沿用至今[2]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年10月，金田村被收入2019年广东省卫生村的名录[1]。2023年5月，广东省爱卫会把「2022年广东省卫生村」称号授予金田村所辖的多个自然村[1]。2026年1月，金田村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村[1]。

文化[edit]

村内的龙云寨有革命旧址，四周古树成荫，是当地的红色遗迹[3]。炉下村的铁炉遗址为明清时期建造的土炉，1978年被发现，1994年6月8日被列为「罗定市第二批文物保护单位」[4]。
