双东街道是广东省云浮市罗定市下辖的街道办事处，位于罗定市区东北部，别名泷东。[5]境内属罗定红盆底部的河岸低丘地貌，东面与华石镇相接，并与郁南县大湾镇接壤。深岑高速公路在街道境内东西横穿，春罗铁路罗定站为货运站。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

街道面积24.2平方千米，西面与罗定城区相邻，南面连接素龙街道，西南为罗城街道，西北为附城街道。[1]地形以黄土低丘为主，适宜种植水稻和旱地作物。[2]年降雨量为1400多毫米，每年无霜期有345天。[2]

街道办事处所在的双东圩在罗定江（又名泷江）的东岸。圩名由“泷”“双”同音而来，取泷江之东的意思。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

街道所在地自宋开宝六年（973）起隶属泷水县，直到明万历四年（1576）。[4]明万历五年（1577）起归罗定州管辖，直至清末。[4]民国时期编入罗定县第五区，1950年仍属第五区。[4]

1958年划归罗城公社，1959年改属大湾公社。[4]1961年4月重归罗定县，设双东公社；1963年2月合并入附城公社，1964年2月复设双东公社。[4]1983年撤销公社，设双东区；1986年11月撤区，改设双东镇。[4]2009年11月17日，街道办事处正式挂牌启用。[3][4]

人口[edit]

根据第七次全国人口普查，2020年11月1日零时统计的常住人口为22088人。[1]2022年末，户籍人口为24265人。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

倒流榜古建筑群位于大同村倒流榜自然村，为清末建成的一组建筑，有祠堂2座、民居建筑4座，信生黄公祠与辅臣黄公祠都建于光绪三年（1877）。[7]建筑依山沿泷江河岸逐级升高，从江上望去如同科举放榜时张贴的黄榜，故称倒流榜。[7]该建筑群于2011年2月14日列入「第四批罗定市文物保护单位」。[6][7]

谭寿海墓在陈皮村。墓主谭寿海，明永乐十三年（1415）考中进士，任河南道监察御史。[8]清道光二十九年（1849）曾重修，墓为土堆墓。[8]1994年6月8日，它被列入「罗定市第二批文物保护单位」。[6][8]

罗寨明经第位于双东村罗寨村，是清乾隆年间的宅第民居。[6][9]它属于第五批公布的「罗定市（县）级文物保护单位」。[9]
