康任村是附城街道下辖的行政村，村庄类型为村庄，属城乡分类中的村庄一类。村名出自民国时期县政府设立的康任乡，此名一直沿用至今。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
王氏始祖于明清时期迁到此地落户，此后吴、陈、赖、罗、彭、张、欧、覃等姓陆续迁入，现村中有9姓，王姓最多。[2]
民国时设康任乡，归西宁县第六区；解放后改隶郁南县榃滨区。1958年8月设大队，同年11月划归罗定。1983年改乡，1986年设村委会，1998年起隶属附城街道。[2]

村内山林面积14057亩（2014年数据）。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2019年10月，本村列入「2019年广东省卫生村」名录；同年12月，经国家林业和草原局公布，入选第二批「国家森林乡村」名单。[1]
