赤坭村为罗定市素龙街道的一个行政村，村中以陈姓为主，陈姓约占70%。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
陈氏始祖性之于1523年迁到此地立村，之后彭氏迁入。现村中有陈、彭二姓，陈姓约占70%。[2]
1523年建村，称赤坭，属泷水县；1911年划归罗定州；民国时期归罗定县第五区、第二区管辖；解放后初期由第五区管辖，后属第九区；1958年改设赤泥大队，归罗城公社辖；1983年撤大队改设乡，1998年恢复村委会建制，隶素龙街道。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，本村列入2018年度「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单。[1]
