历史沿革[edit]

1958年建为新峡生产大队。此后1983年转为乡人民政府的所在，1987年定为村委会，1989年为管理区，1999年再次恢复村委会建制。[1]

此后归建城人民公社（1958年）、建城区公所（1983年）管辖，1987年转由建城镇人民政府管辖。[1]

1996年11月以前，村委驻地设在黄茆岗。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，新峡村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
