罗沙村的村名来自村委会设在罗沙湾下方；后来驻地附近的几个村组成一片，遂以罗沙为名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村中最早的姓氏迁入情况不详，现有陈、邓、聂、李、余、谢、莫、黄等姓。1949年前属四宁乡，1950年划为三区的罗沙行政村；此后1953年建乡，1958年转为生产大队，1983年又改设乡，1987年换称村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年再为村委会。1955年归建城区，1957年并入通门乡，1993年起归通门镇人民政府管辖。[2]
