舍丰村位于六祖镇境内。村名取自旧时两个相邻村落各一字，据博雅地名网，村落处在这两个村落之间[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，白氏始祖约在公元1516年前后自南雄珠玑巷迁入，在舍村一带落户，是本村委最早的聚落；公元1620年，简氏始祖自珠玑巷迁到丰坊，此后其他姓氏陆续迁入。现有甘、简、陈、莫、邓等十三姓，以甘姓最多[2]。

1949年此地属新兴县第一区西云乡，1955年改属南平区。1958年设集成公社的舍丰大队，1983年11月设船岗区公所舍丰乡，1999年属船岗镇舍丰村委会，2003年改属集成镇，2004年起归六祖镇舍丰村民委员会[1]。
