六祖镇是广东省云浮市新兴县下辖的镇，位于县境中南部。镇域东面与太平镇交界，南面紧邻里洞、大江两镇，西面是河头、簕竹两镇，北面与新城镇相连，镇区距县城约8千米；面积据百度百科为187平方千米，博雅地名网则作181平方千米[1][2][3]。镇名取自禅宗六祖惠能，因境内是他的故里，2004年2月27日由集成镇改称六祖镇[1][8]。

镇内以禅文化遗迹为主：国恩寺依龙山而建，是全国重点文物保护单位；神仙谷、藏佛坑和六祖故里旅游度假区也在境内，其中度假区为国家4A级旅游景区[4][5][6]。

新中国成立后不久的1949年10月，此地划入新兴县第三区。1958年以集成公社的形式建制，1983年成为集成区，1987年4月升为集成镇。2003年12月，船岗镇撤销，其地并入集成镇；2004年2月27日，改用六祖镇之名[1]。

镇名的来历，维基百科的说法是：此地原称集成镇，因惠能的家乡这一缘由，2004年才改定现名[8]。

名胜古迹[edit]

国恩寺位于龙山脚下，龙山位于镇内[7]。据新兴县政府网站，寺院可追溯到唐弘道元年（683年），由惠能为报父母养育之恩而开建；706年（神龙二年），唐中宗下诏赐名「国恩寺」[4][5][7]。2019年10月，寺院成为第八批全国重点文物保护单位[5][9]。

据博雅地名网的概况，惠能的出生地一说在夏卢村的六祖故居，圆寂地为藏佛坑；国恩寺一页则称寺院是惠能出生和圆寂之所[2][5]。

藏佛坑在寺田村东侧。据载，坑内化身潭旁的岩洞为惠能圆寂之处，景区内另有六祖求雨石、韦陀石等景点[10][13]。

神仙谷景区位于镇域西南部留村村委会辖区内的笔架山，谷中有峡谷、瀑布与奇石，也生长着黑桫椤[11][12]。

六祖故里旅游度假区以国恩寺为核心。据六祖镇政府2025年11月的材料，度假区为国家4A级旅游景区，区内列有千年古荔（相传由惠能亲手栽种）、卓锡泉、六祖浴池与六祖故居等禅文化遗迹[6][14]。

叶季壮故居在西睦社区水湄村。博雅地名网称故居建于清代，为三间两廊的岭南传统民居，是被称为「红管家」的叶季壮的诞生之所；据六祖镇政府材料，故居已列入第十批省文物保护[6][15]。

以水果产业计，六祖镇于2020年8月名列「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业镇」[1]。2021年2月，六祖镇获「2020年度休闲农业与乡村旅游示范镇」称号[1]。2023年11月，六祖镇列入「广东“百千万工程”首批典型县镇村」；次年4月，又进入「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范镇」创建名单[1]。2026年5月，六祖镇被列为「广东省第一批开展现代化建设的中心镇」[1]。

2019年12月，六祖镇名列「首批广东省旅游风情小镇」；2025年3月，它获得「第七届全国文明村镇」称号[1]。
