村名的来历是礼洞、马溪、洞尾、象岗、托盘和大松树这六处地方合在一起。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放后，六联一带先隶属新兴县第一区的簕竹乡。1955年划入南平区，当年设5个农业合作社初级社，次年并为3个高级社。[1][2]

1958年分为四喜、北向、六联三个大队，1963年合并为六联大队。1983年归簕竹区；1989年起由簕竹镇设六联管理区；1999年起，该地设六联村民委员会，隶属簕竹镇。[1][2]
