簕竹镇位于广东省云浮市新兴县西部，离县城15公里，镇政府设在簕竹圩。镇名的来历是镇政府驻地河堤上遍植新竹。[1][3]

农牧业是簕竹的特色，温氏股份有限公司的发祥地就在本镇，当地也因养鸡业素有「养鸡之乡」的美誉。[4][1]

历史沿革[edit]

明朝时簕竹属新兴县宁化都。清末归第四区管辖，1949年10月起改属第一区，1955年8月第一区易名南平区。[1][3]

1957年设乡，1958年10月新竹公社成立；1983年8月设觞竹区，1987年3月区改为镇。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

镇境东邻新城镇，南接六祖镇与河头镇，西邻云安区，北面紧挨国营良洞迳林场。自东北向西南，三茂铁路与省道S113线穿过全镇。[1][3]

面积的数字各家不一：百度百科载为101.8平方千米；《簕竹镇简介》则称全镇面积为140.73平方公里，其中40.98平方公里为良洞迳林场所用土地。[3][4]

据《簕竹镇简介》，全镇耕地面积4187亩，林地面积12万亩，其中生态林5.7万亩，全镇共有93条自然村、104个村民小组。[4]

百度百科称，截至2019年末，簕竹镇户籍人口为16187人。[3] 《簕竹镇简介》则称全镇总人口1.57万人，其中常住人口7716人，全镇设基层党组织27个，党员570人。[4]

经济[edit]

农牧业是镇内的主要产业，镇内有多家畜禽相关企业；「政银企村户」共建家庭农场的模式也在镇里推行，竹笋种植是另一项特色产业。[4]

农业方面，簕竹先后被列为「一村一品、一镇一业」专业镇（畜禽养殖，2020年8月由广东省农业农村厅公布第二批）、第十二批全国「一村一品」示范村镇（肉鸡，2023年3月）和首批国家农业产业强镇（2023年8月）；2021年9月又入选第二批全国乡村治理示范乡镇。[1]

据《簕竹镇简介》，全镇获得过全国「人民满意的公务员集体」等14项国家及省级荣誉称号；镇入选省「百千万工程」第二批典型镇，9个村（社区）获得省典型村称号。[4]

镇内有良洞舞火龙等传统民俗活动。《簕竹镇简介》还提到「竹子文化」「华侨文化」「温氏文化」，镇里设有华侨古街、华侨文化展馆和古码头广场，构成华侨文化交流基地；簕竹圩另有骑楼风情街。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

佛手岭风景区位于簕竹镇，四周被约14公里的环形山脉围绕，三条山溪贯穿峡谷，区内有大小瀑布36处，景区内留有明末清初的龙云寺遗址。[2][5][6]

簕竹镇人民政府简介还列有张珠大屋、良洞古屋群、七户八股会址与石头冲炮楼；另有新兴八景「锦水拖篮」（簕竹河），以及狮子腰、九彩沟、簕竹东驿站、清平楼、尚彩大书房，簕竹革命烈士纪念碑，永安生态农业观光片区。[4]
