历史沿革[edit]

1949年10月前后，此地归新兴县第五区五权乡，最初称第六农会。1958年时，它是东方红农业合作社，1960年定名东西大队。1983年改为东西乡，1989年设为管理区，2002年定为社区居民委员会。[2]
