地名由来[edit]
博雅地名网说，“坝”取自先祖沿水定居的意思。[1] 百度百科则称，陈姓人迁居于此，依水而住，村名原作「灞村」，后以谐音改作“坝村”。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年后，坝村先属新兴县二区民乐乡，1955年起归稔村区管辖。[2]
1958年11月起，坝村划入稔村公社，设为大队。1963年至1975年间，它曾与邻村合为一个大队，后又分开。1983年改设坝村乡，1986年11月设坝村管理区，1999年起称坝村村民委员会。[2]
经济[edit]
村内的农产有大蒜、豌豆等。[3]
荣誉[edit]
坝村于2024年3月被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1] 2019年9月，坝村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
