大稳村是新城镇下辖的行政村，2026年1月获评「广东省第二批百千万工程典型村」。村中有山有水、土质肥沃，“大稳”取安居乐业、稳步向前之意。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

先祖约于元至正二十八年（1368年）自广东韶关迁来定居，村中由李、温、陈、卢等姓组成，之后陈姓渐趋兴旺，目前陈姓占全村人口的99%。[2] 1949年划归新兴县第六区成睦乡；1958年11月归红旗公社，设大稳大队；1959年归洞口公社；1963年4月改归车岗公社；1978年2月回归洞口公社；1983年4月为洞口区公所下的大稳乡；1986年11月归洞口镇，设大稳管理区；1999年改为大稳村民委员会。[2]

经济[edit]

新城镇2026年政府工作报告将「大稳黄晶果」列入培育壮大的特色农产品品牌。[3]
