历史沿革[edit]
1949年11月隶属新兴一区附城镇，叫平康村；1951年改归南平乡；1958年11月归红旗公社，仍叫平康村；1959年归城关镇。1964年归环城公社，改称建新大队；1978年复叫平康大队；1983年为环城区的平康乡；1987年设平康管理区；1994年6月改归新城镇，仍为平康管理区；1998年11月设平康居民委会，2002年4月定名平康社区居民委员会。[1][2]
