高龙村位于石城镇境内，村委会设在高龙村委，是镇下辖的一个行政村。[1] 1956年时属高龙大乡，之后历经高级社、大队的变化，1999年改为高龙村委会，沿用至今。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年时属高龙大乡，内分岭下、石仔围两个小社。次年两社合为高级社，1959年分为岭下、石仔围两个大队，同年下半年又并为高龙大队。[1]

1983年改为高龙乡，1986年归属高龙村民委员会，1992年设高龙管理区，1999年改为高龙村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，高龙村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

2023年5月，广东省爱卫会将「2022年广东省卫生村」称号授予高龙村下辖的石仔围村、水口村、坑尾村、高龙围村、岭下村。[1]
