历史沿革[edit]
1950年后此地属第六联村，1952年土改后归寨塘乡。1957年各初级社并为高级社，1958年并入富林人民公社，为寨塘大队。1983年撤社改区，仍称寨塘乡，1984年评定为革命老区。1986年设寨塘村民委员会，1989年成为寨塘管理区，1999年定名寨塘村委会。[2]
1947年至解放期间，寨塘人民支持了当地的游击斗争。[1]
