石牛村是高村镇的一个行政村，村名来自村委会附近一块大石头上的牛脚印。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1950至1957年底，此地称石麟甲。1958年公社化，改为石牛大队；1968年一度叫永红大队；1983年定名石牛乡。1986年起为镇辖的石牛村民委员会；1992年成为石牛管理区，1999年又定为石牛村委会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年4月，本村列入「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1]

2021年12月，省爱卫会授予本村「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
