历史沿革[edit]

1952年3月设坪塘乡，隶属腰古乡。1955年3月，坪塘高级农业生产合作社宣告成立。[1]

1958年10月设坪塘生产大队，隶属激流人民公社；1961年3月改属腰古人民公社；1983年改称坪塘乡。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，坪塘村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
