高峰村位于云浮市云城区高峰街道，属城乡结合区，街道办事处驻地在该村。[1][2]村名有两种说法：一说始祖冯觉宥自福建迁来此地，原居地也叫高峰；另一说村子处于罗卜山麓，山峰较高。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清同治年间此地归东安县岑岗堡，民国时属云浮县罗南乡，建国后归云浮县岑岗乡。1952年3月设高峰乡，1954年3月组建高峰高级农业生产合作社。1958年，此地设高峰生产大队，归东方红人民公社。[3]

1961至1962年间先后归新云县云城人民公社、云浮县附城人民公社，1978年归云浮硫铁矿矿区人民公社管辖。1983年改设高峰乡，归高峰区公所；1986年设高峰村委会，归云浮县高峰镇；1989年改为高峰管理区。1994年划入云城区高峰街道，1999年又称高峰村委会，此后归云浮市云城区高峰街道。[3]

2022年8月，高峰村成为2022年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」的创建单位；同年12月，村子入选第四批云浮市「民主法治示范村（社区）」。2024年3月，村子获命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
