历史沿革[edit]
1961年另组一个大队，由竹围寨、利坑窝两寨组成；1983年并入乡建制；1987年设立村委会，1989年改为管理区办事处，1999年定为村委会。[2]
经济[edit]
耕地504亩，山地3213亩。农作以水稻、甘薯为主，特产青梅，兼产橄榄、菠萝。村内设完全小学一所，有水泥公路连接里坪公路。[1][2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中祠堂前有一口鹅蛋形的鱼塘，塘中巨石形似蛋黄，当地流传“金鹅孵蛋”的说法。[1]
