塘唇村是大坪镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域西南，距普宁市区约53.7公里，属革命老区。[1][2]

名称与历史[edit]

清雍正年间（公元1723年至1735年），五华县的移民迁来创村。因房屋建在池塘旁边，村子得名塘唇。[1][2]

1999年改称村委会，沿用至今；1990年为管理区；1986年大坪设镇，称塘唇村委会。1966年由农场分出，成为大坪公社塘唇大队；1960年农场设管区；1958年并入南阳山公社。1950年3月才归普宁县，此前属陆丰县。[1]

地理与产业[edit]

村内共有四个自然村：方祠堂、坪顶、径背新村和塘唇。[1]

村内有耕地359亩、山地5758亩，主要种植稻谷、甘薯和花生，盛产青梅、橄榄和乌榄。有个体企业1家，小学1所，合作医疗站1个。[1]

荣誉[edit]

塘唇村以青梅入选「第二批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」，名单发布于2021年9月。[1]
