梅星村是高埔镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区西北面，西北与船埔镇交界，高埔通往船埔的公路穿村而过。[1]
沿革[edit]
新中国成立前这里属惠来县，新中国成立后划入普宁县第十一区的社营乡。1959年归入一个大队，1972年单独建队，1983年从大队中析出，设梅星乡，1986年建村委会。1990年改称管理区，1999年再改为村委会，名称沿用至今。[1]
自然与产业[edit]
村下辖梅树下、石砚、荷树角、五斗种4个自然村。农业以水稻为主，青梅、橄榄的产量也较高，是高埔镇青梅基地之一。村中有石码头水电站一座。[1]
高埔河贯穿村境，水、沙与林木等资源丰富。[1]
