田南村是南径镇的行政村，毗邻镇区，离普宁市区约13.5公里，面积1984亩，辖田南、新厝两个自然村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年，村地属南径乡；1958年转属南径星火公社。1984年公社改区，改设田南乡，隶属南径区。1987年撤区建镇后称田南村委会，随后改为田南管理区；1999年定为田南村委会，延续至今。[1]

经济[edit]

村里以农业为主，水稻和蔬菜是主要农产品。部分村民经营蔬菜的销售，外出务工经商的村民也较多。[1]
