大寮村位于省道236线镇区南侧，村民以绿化苗木种植为主，并从事绿化工程的设计、施工和养护。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建国初期，该村归普宁第一区与第八区管辖。1953年改隶第八区，1957年改属广太乡，1958年入南溪公社。1974年划归广太公社，称大寮大队；1984年设大寮乡，1986年改为大寮村委会，1990年称大寮管理区，1999年再改为大寮村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年12月，村庄入选第一批「国家森林乡村」名单。2023年11月，入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村。2024年4月，村庄进入广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村的创建名单。[1]
