历史沿革[edit]
村落始建于宋代，原称「永平」乡。清初在原地重建，因聚居陈氏族人，遂改称陈厝寨。[2]
1987年归赤岗镇，设陈厝寨村委会；1990年为管理区；1999年又改称陈厝寨村委会，名称沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
村内东、西两片工业小区，博雅地名网称占地450亩，百度百科称占地600多亩，两说并存。企业以生产电缆电线、塑料、胶木电器、五金机械为主。[3][2]
镇政府工作报告把陈厝寨概括为「工业富村」样板。[4]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内陈氏祖祠建于清末。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年3月，陈厝寨村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1] 2023年11月，村入选「广东百千万工程首批典型县镇村」。[1]
2021年9月，陈厝寨村在广东省第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单中列为奶牛专业村。[1][2]
2020年、2021年和2022年，该村先后列入淘宝村名单。[1] 2019年9月，该村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1] 2008年度，村被揭阳市委评为「先进基层党组织」。[3]
