华市村是广东省揭阳市普宁市池尾街道下辖的行政村，位于普宁市区西部，属革命老区。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明代，赖氏从福建漳州迁居此处。明末清初，当地人兴起一处名为「下市圩」的集市，此后雅称为华市。[1]

抗日战争时期，汕头市立第一中学曾迁到此地。[1]

1961年分立华市大队，1965年改属池尾公社，1984年改区设乡，1986年改为村委会，1990年为管理区，1999年定名华市村委会。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

赖氏与吕氏是村中两大姓氏。[1]

改革开放后，村民由种植转向工副业，以服装、塑料制品等行业为主；集体经济则靠土地招标出租和商铺经营。[1]

2020年、2021年和2022年，华市村列入淘宝村名单。[2]

著名人物[edit]

书画家赖少其的故乡为华市村。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年，华市村获评广东省乡村治理示范村。2026年1月，华市村获评广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村。[1][2]
