钟潭村是广东省揭阳市普宁市池尾街道下辖的行政村，位于普宁市西南部，属革命老区。该村1963年自成行政村，1993年普宁撤县设市后属池尾街道，1999年改设钟潭村委会。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1927年南昌起义部队撤离时，钟潭村曾遭军阀部队袭击，周恩来等人经村民协助脱险。[1]

1965年属池尾公社，1984年公社改为区后设乡，1986年改为村委会，1990年为管理区，1999年改设钟潭村委会。[2]

经济[edit]

村民从事服装、塑料加工和汽车修配等行业，村中另有个体商户经营药材、汽车配件和电器。[2]

2020年、2021年和2022年，钟潭村先后列入淘宝村名单。[2]

文化[edit]

村内设有小学。钟潭大道连接广汕公路与环城南路。[2]

2019年至2022年，钟潭村连续获评广东省民主法治示范村。[1]
