红四师百岭战斗旧址位于本村。红四师的来历是1927年12月在花县改编的一支广州起义部队，番号称中国工农革命军第四师，后又称红四师。[2]

据揭阳市文广部门2017年12月发布的通知，林五娘墓列为第三次全国文物普查登记的不可移动文物。[3]
