双湖村是广东省揭阳市惠来县岐石镇的行政村，位于镇区正东面。村名因村西南两个自然湖而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明万历年间（1572～1620年），郑氏一支自潮阳迁居此地创村。村子西南边有两处天然湖泊，一大一小，之间由水沟相通，形状像缶瓶，原称“缶瓶湖”，1956年改名双湖。[1]

村庄原属南海场管辖。公社化时期成立双湖大队，1983年至1986年一度设乡，此后又回到村委会、管理区的建制，1999年为村委会。[1]

2003年，南海乡撤销，双湖村改归岐石镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，双湖村入选广东省农业农村厅公布的「一村一品、一镇一业」首批专业村（番薯）。2023年5月，双湖村获广东省爱卫会授予的「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
