塘华村在仙庵镇东部，属海边村庄，海岸线长约5公里，与惠来县金海湾植物园俱乐部交界。[1]
地名与历史[edit]
村庄地势低下，村前有一口大池塘，初名“塘下”，1952年雅称为“塘华”。[1]
王氏于康熙年间（1662～1722）来此定居。1949年属惠来县和林区，称塘华村；1958年，本村与西庄、四美、西塘合并为四美大队，隶东红公社；1974年另立塘华大队，改隶仙庵公社；1983年同西庄村合组西华乡，归仙庵区管辖；1987年设塘华管区，1999年起称塘华村委会。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
全村面积3275亩，耕地计925亩，其中水田203亩，旱地722亩。总户数456户，总人口3069人，未注年份。[1]
村民半渔半农，海上捕捞的劳力约占两成。2009年人均纯收入2989元。[1]
教育[edit]
村里办有一所完整的小学。[1]
