犁集村隶属华湖镇，位于惠来县东面，距县城约4公里，是一个革命老苏区，也是贫困村。村名取自旧时后林犁村一带的“犁”字与“集”字，“集”有总合之意。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村政权设立于1956年，从华堡乡中拆分而出；建国后村中辖九个自然村，1958年9月改称犁集大队。[2]

1983年11月，犁集大队与另一大队合并，成立犁集乡政府；1986年11月，拆乡建村；1999年为村委会。[2][3]

人口与耕地[edit]

博雅地名网记全村共688户，总人口4623人，现辖六个村民小组。水田有750亩，旱园达950亩，另有山地1700亩。[2]

自然环境与经济[edit]

村地为丘陵，村辖区有石堀水库，属小二型水库。村民种水稻和番薯，乌叶荔枝也有种植，并兼养生猪。村内有碎石场，探明的矿藏有冰长石和钛铁矿。[1][2]

葵和公路穿过村中，邻近深汕高速公路。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，犁集村进入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
