历史沿革[edit]
明万历后期（1597～1620年），高氏来此创村。村周围遍植梅树，往来行人需经梅林，故称“梅蓝行”（潮语称梅林为“梅蓝”）。雅称“先春”，取梅花先报春讯之意。[1]
大革命时期，这里是彭湃同志领导下的革命苏区村。[1]
人口与耕地[edit]
全村470户、2870人，劳动力720人，外出务工者三百余人（博雅地名网）。耕地1145亩，水田占680亩，旱园465亩，山地则为1500亩。[1][2]
经济[edit]
村中以农业为主，农作物主要有山霉、火龙果，荔枝种植400多亩。农业基础设施薄弱，龙潭湖内涝水浸区的水田连年受浸。[1][3]

村内有华临古观，是村中的名胜古迹。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2022年8月，先春村获「2022年惠来县首批无毒村（社区）」称号。[1]
