官路村位于惠来县城南部，村址在雷岭河畔的惠政桥西岸，葵和公路经过村北，属县城南区规划控制区。村名来自旧时的官道：明代有人迁居此处，在官道边立寨创业，村因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1423年（明永乐二十一年）前后，黄氏一族由福建莆田迁来，先在旧厝落户，后又移到官道边立寨。惠来设县后，官员赴潮州府城须经此道。[1]

1949年前后，此地并入一个更大的村级单位。1983年底，此处从原单位划出，自成一乡；1987年改称官路管理区办事处，直到1999年才定为官路村委会。[3]

人口与耕地[edit]
