连城村地处坪上镇东部。村人黄子松早年曾旅居马来西亚经商。[1]

沿革[edit]

1958年至1983年为连城大队，1984年设连城乡政府；1986年改为连城村委会，1990年一度为管理区办事处，1999年复为村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，连城村被列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。2023年5月，连城村获广东省爱卫会颁发「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]

人物[edit]

黄子松（1881～1975年）为连城村人，成年后到马来西亚柔佛州士乃埠开店经商。1937年抗战初期，他站出来号召海外华侨。[1]
