村中有自己的发电站，集体经济在镇内较为雄厚，村由六个自然小村组成。[2] 2024年3月，建一村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1957年以前属建中乡第一社；1959年独立设立建一大队。1986年设建一村委会，1999年定名建一村民委员会。[1]
