龙岭村在桂岭镇北部，周边与岭丰、鸟围、港尾、玉白、大岭等村接壤，并与月城镇西湖村相邻。[1][2]

村民收入以种植业为主。2009年，村民人均收入为4719元，全村工农业产值合计6380万元。村里引进企业落户，其中10家已落户、5家已投产，解决了部分剩余劳力，并增加了村集体收入。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村寨始建于明成化年间。民国时期属磐溪都；解放后归揭阳磐西区，1953年改属揭阳第九区。1958年划入磐岭公社，称龙岭大队；1983年改为桂岭渠东乡，1986年设龙岭村委会，延续至今。[2]

文化[edit]

近年，龙岭村曾获「揭东县文明单位」「尊师重教先进单位」「先进基层党组织」等称号。[2]
