珠坑村在龙尾镇政府南侧，紧靠省道S335线，属揭东区龙尾镇的行政村，位于两市三县的交汇处。[1][3]

全村约600户，总人口2600人，区域面积1.5平方千米，共产党员79人。[1][2][3]

土地与经济[edit]

村中水田800亩，山埔400亩，耕地合计1200亩。农业是村里的主要经济，大面积种植潮州蕉柑，并以此作为主打品牌发展。[1][3]

村集体经济基础较薄弱，但山坡地受高新区辐射，博雅地名网认为发展潜力较大。[1]

基础设施[edit]

近年，村里在基础设施上投入200多万元：环村路与村道已硬化，安装了路灯；文化广场占地1200多平方米，另为珠坑学校盖了教师办公楼与食堂。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

此地于1950年得名竹坑村，1951年归卅岭区管辖，1953年改隶盘岭区，1958年并入磐岭公社高龙营。[1]

1961年划为龙尾公社辖区，1963年转属白塔公社，1965年又回龙尾公社。[1]

1983年归龙尾区珠坑乡，1986年设珠坑村委会，沿用至今。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，珠坑村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

百度百科则称该村于2021年9月入选「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建名单，两说年份不同，并列于此。[3]
