赤岸村是广东省揭阳市揭东区月城镇下辖的行政村，位于镇北部，濒临榕江北河，原属五蔡乡。[1]

村民以务农为主，部分人外出经商。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村落明洪武年间已经创立。民国时期属揭阳磐溪都，1949年归揭阳磐东区五蔡乡。[1]

1958年并入磐东公社五蔡大队，1975年改为月城公社赤岸大队，1983年设月城区五蔡乡，1986年从五蔡分出，设立赤岸村委会。[1]

文化[edit]

广东省爱国卫生运动委员会在2017年10月将「第一批广东省卫生村」的称号授予赤岸村。[1]

2019年9月，赤岸村上榜「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
