湖岗村位于玉湖镇中心片区，距镇政府约3公里，是一个以农业为主的历史古村落。[1][3]

人口与经济[edit]

耕地901亩、山地96亩，人口3422人；党支部有党员62人，两委干部5人，资料年份未注明。[1]

2008年，村里成立了香穗湖水稻种植专业合作社，在发展效益农业的同时，村民也种植淮山。玉湖镇的淮山种植以吴厝村、湖岗村为龙头，湖岗村的淮山面积有1000多亩。[2][3]

2019年3月，第六批「广东省古村落」名单发布，湖岗村入选。[1]

2024年政府工作报告提到，上级已对湖岗村的美丽宜居示范项目完成验收。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期属兴西联乡湖岗村。新中国成立后归玉湖乡的泽联大队管辖，1986年成立湖岗村委会。[1]
