大寮村是锡场镇的革命老区村，下辖四个村民小组，北侧接连揭普公路出入口，国道206在近旁相通。[1]
2019年9月，大寮村被列入2018年度「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2021年10月和2022年10月，村庄先后入选淘宝村名单。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明弘治年间创村。1986年成立大寮村委会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
农业上，村里以水稻示范基地为重点推进高产栽培技术。道路等基础设施也在配套建设，为工业企业营造投资环境。[1]
