寨一村位于揭东县城中心，国道206线与站前大道横穿而过，周边与陇埔、港美、寨二等村相接。征地之后，村内耕地只余150多亩，山地约300亩。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

南宋时立村，名为寨内。1958年起为曲溪公社寨内大队；1986年自寨内乡析出，设寨一村委会，一直沿用到今。[1]

产业与设施[edit]

村内发展塑料加工、模具制作和不锈钢加工等产业，农作物以无害蔬菜为主。2021年，村里建成A级以上公厕2座，并完成「股份份额制」改革试点。[1][3]

荣誉[edit]

2007年，寨一社区居委会被揭东县委、县政府授予文明单位称号。2021年，寨一村为省级美丽乡村示范村；2023年4月，寨一村入选「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单。[1][3]
