红岗社区即红岗村，地处地都镇的腹心，镇道池西路自村中穿过，村内有大池等水面。[1]

人口与土地[edit]

全村总人口5142人，1152户（未注明年份）。耕地约1400亩，山坡地500多亩，池塘340多亩。[1][2]

经济与基础设施[edit]

主要经济支柱为养殖、种植，村民也有外出经商的。2009年，村里产值2200多万元，村民人均收入超过4900元。[1] 村委会多方筹资，修建了约4公里的村道，实现路网水泥化；又建设了大池与巷口池，整修了红岗小学的礼堂。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，红岗社区列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位之列。[1] 2024年3月，红岗社区获评「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
