仙阳社区位于渔湖街道西北部，与榕东街道相接。望江北路横贯社区，渔湖中心路环绕其北部。社区原为仙阳村，2009年6月撤村建居。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
仙阳原为仙阳村。2009年6月28日，村委会遵照上级统一部署撤村建居，设立仙阳社区居委会，归揭阳试验区的渔湖镇管辖。[1]
荣誉方面，2007年，揭阳市委、市政府授予该社区文明村称号；2006年与2009年，则分别由试验区委和渔湖镇委授予先进基层党组织称号。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
社区范围约960多亩，有544户居民，2352人（未注年份）。区内有大小企业35家，居民家庭式的小加工业较为发达。集体经济主要来自土地租赁和发包，年财政收入约35万元。[1]
