双梧村位于榕城西部，南靠紫峰山，梅普公路与榕南干渠穿境而过。[1]村子以水田和旱园为主，工业以五金加工为主，尚未形成规模。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村中于1950年设农会，划入安乐区山中乡；1956年归梅云乡管辖。[1]1958年改为生产队，归云光管区；1959年4月起属云光生产大队。[1]

1961年村子成为梅云公社石寮大队的一部分；1970年归双寮大队所辖；1972年双寮拆分，村子另立双梧大队。[1]1983年归梅云区梅畔乡，1986年设双梧村委会，归梅云街道。[1]

经济[edit]

全村350户、1727人，总面积1200亩，其中水田477亩、旱园132亩（博雅地名网所载，年份未注）。[1]2008年，村社工农业总产值达950万元，人均纯收入4935元。[1]

文化[edit]

广东省爱卫会于2023年5月授予双梧村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
