耕地近800亩，山坡地近300亩，主要种植香蕉、果林与绿化苗木，另有公益生态林250亩。2008年，社区工农业总产值为2182万元，人均收入5320元，区里将其列为特色农业经济发展社区。[1]

2024年3月，村子获评2023年「广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
