高湖村位于仙桥街道中心，处在潮、普、揭三地交汇处，省道与仙金公路绕村而过。[1]

村里共有7000人、1375户，土地2560亩，其中山地1460亩，设4个经联社。[1]

经济[edit]

村里发展钢铁加工经营，现有大明钢铁有限公司，另有多家大型钢铁企业，使本村成为粤东地区的产销集散地。村民种有荔枝、芒果、香蕉等经济作物，共1100多亩；村里还建成了高湖水果市场。[1][2]

文化[edit]

华阳观、锣鼓石与贡果珍品红花榱，都是本村较有名的景点。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年起划入安乐公社永北管区，1961年改为仙桥公社高湖大队；1983年归仙桥区管辖，1986年设高湖村委会，此后一直沿用。[1]

2008年，榕城区委与区政府把本村列为社会主义新农村示范点。[1] 2020年9月、2021年10月与2022年10月，高湖村先后入选淘宝村名单；「广东省卫生村」（2023年）的称号于2024年3月授予本村。[1]
