新陂村是饶平县联饶镇所辖的行政村，村名与福建诏安的南陂有关。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1951年为新陂乡，属第八区（高堂区）。1958年组建新陂大队，归凤江公社；1962年凤江公社撤销后改入联饶公社，仍称新陂大队。1983年设立新陂乡，隶属联饶区；1986年成立新陂村委会，隶联饶乡；1990年设新陂管理区，归联饶镇；1999年新陂村委会重新设立。[1]

据维基百科，明朝正德年间，林氏六世林茂成的第四子由福建诏安溪东（今霞葛镇南陂村）迁来，在此开基。因祖籍属南陂一派，为纪念故里，遂取村名为新陂。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，新陂村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予新陂村「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
