樟溪镇是广东省潮州市饶平县下辖的镇，位于县境西南部，西与潮安县交界，东与新圩镇、联饶镇相连。[1][2]镇名来自境内的一条溪流：这条二十余公里长的溪水发源于青岚山，汇入黄冈河，两岸生长着成片的樟树。[3]

全镇辖21个行政村，另有高蔡林场等场区。镇内的紫来楼建于明清两代，是广东省文物保护单位。[1][4][5][6]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，樟溪一带隶属信宁都陈塘堡。[2]驻地樟溪圩建于明万历四十四年（1616年）。[3]此后的建制几经变动：1956年底为樟溪区，1961年4月转为人民公社，1983年11月重又成为区，1986年11月升格为镇。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

樟溪镇面积约108平方千米。[1]博雅地名网称它位于县域中部，东经116°53′、北纬23°44′；百度百科则说在县域西南部，两者方位的说法不一。[1][4]

境内山地约10.8万亩，耕地约1.385万亩；南距国道324线约9公里，西接潮安县，东连黄冈河。镇内的马山湖水库集雨面积23.8平方千米，总库容993.4万立方米，另有两座小型水电站。[4]锡矿、铜矿、黄金矿有相当的蕴藏量，花岗岩和瓷土存量也较多。[4]以上数字取自概况页，该页未注明年份。

据百度百科，截至2019年末，樟溪镇户籍人口为20220人。[1]第七次全国人口普查结果为1.52万人，博雅地名网据此将全镇排在饶平县各乡镇人口数量的第18位。[3]另一处概况页载全镇人口1.88万人，未注明年份。[4]

镇内通行潮州话。[2]各村的姓氏多为明清两代从福建、饶平其他乡镇或邻县迁入的宗族，聚居于各自的村落。[2]

据百度百科，2019年全镇工业企业共14家，规模以上者只有一家。[1]农产品中，蕉柑最为知名：饶平县特产网称樟溪镇是饶平蕉柑的著名产地，果肉肥厚，且无核。[7]

名胜古迹[edit]

紫来楼位于乌溪村，又称明清古寨。据百度百科，它始建于明万历四十一年（1613年），占地面积有2892平方米与2348平方米两说。[5]博雅地名网则把楼中内环的建造时间定为明嘉靖年间，与前说不同。[3]

楼分内外两环，外环楼稍矮，内环楼较高，均为两层。[5]紫来楼先于2003年12月被定为县级文物保护单位，2008年11月又被公布为第五批省级文物保护单位。[6]
